Jag är så glad att få välkomna Zofia nierodzinska som vår gäst på Sikås Art Center i juli, en mycket uppskattad kollega, engagerad curator och underbar människa.

I am so glad to welcome Zofia nierodzinska as our guest at Sikås Art Center in July, a much appreciated colleague, engaged curator and wonderful person.

Zofia nierodzińska is an author of texts, curator of exhibitions, visual artist, university lecturer affiliated with the Academy of Art in Szczecin; 2017–22 deputy director of the Arsenal Municipal Gallery in Poznań. She focuses on the art of post-socialist countries, the topic of migration, and the accessibility of culture. Her most recent exhibitions include the co-curated exhibition ‘FERNBEZIEHUNGEN’ at KVOST in Berlin and ‘From the East to the East’ at Łęctwo Gallery in Poznań. She studied at the University of Arts in Poznan (Ph.D.) and at the Universität der Künste in Berlin (M.A.). From 2019 to 2024, she was editor-in-chief of RTV Magazine, a platform on art and activism (https://magazynrtv.com/). She lives and works in Berlin.
